Welcome! I’m Associate Professor in the Department of Media Studies at the University of Colorado-Boulder. I am also Editor-in-Chief of the journal Cultural Studies.
My research and teaching focus on how media, culture, and technology shape one another. The approach I take combines critical theory, cultural studies, and cultural history in the manner of James W. Carey and Raymond Williams.
